I happened to park behind a Tesla which is James' dream car and thought it was a sign for his good luck in the match day specifically his first choice N.Y. I guess it meant he was going to California. He matched Bakersfield, CA. Best wishes for his surgery residency!

Update in April
The Bakersfield program lost the accreditation and James slipped off the residency. Fortunately his school helped him to get a prelim position in Buffalo, NY instead. What a stressful thing to deal with but I'm glad he's saved for the next year! Honestly I have a better feeling about Buffalo. Go, James!
